Cossacks refuse to be reined in
THE Ukrainian Cossacks team of stunt riders braved torrential rain yesterday to entertain spectators who packed the Great Yorkshire Showground’s grandstand of the main ring to watch them.
The Warmblood horses galloped at speed despite the conditions as the riders demonstrated their agility, vaulting on and off and underneath the animals.
The performers ended up by forming a six-rider pyramid on top of two horses which were galloping side by side.
