Bob Maxwell and Rob Sadler of Begbies Traynor were appointed as joint administrators of Agricultural Contract and Marketing Company (ACMC) Ltd on Monday.

The company supplies genetically-advanced breeding stock to farmers all over the world.

A family business established in 1990, ACMC is known as a leader in the world of pig genetics and employs 35 staff.

In a statement issued today, Begbies Traynor, said the company is continuing to trade in administration “in order to sell the business as a going concern and maximise the return to creditors”.
