Over the rainbow, those April showers will finally blow away

THE April showers that have punctuated the spring sunshine for most of the week will largely vanish by the end of Thursday, forecasters said.

The Met Office says Friday will be “mostly dry” but with a remaining few showers developing through the morning and into the afternoon. There will be sunny spells, too, and light winds.

The weekend and Monday will again by mostly dry with some sun after an early frost. Monday, mainly dry but breezy and rather cold.
