Euromillions draw winner could net £122m jackpot

The Euromillions lottery jackpot in today’s draw will be £122m, organiser Camelot has said.

A single ticket winner would become the UK’s third biggest National Lottery jackpot winner to date with a fortune twice that of X Factor judge and Take That star Gary Barlow’s £60m, the organisation said.

A Lottery spokesman said a winner would become the joint-649th richest person in the country, adding: “This jackpot is now up to a point which can mean fast cars and private jets.”

The largest Euromillions jackpot to date is the £161m won by Colin and Chris Weir, of Largs in North Ayrshire in Scotland, in 2011, followed by Gillian and Adrian Bayford, from Haverhill in Suffolk, who won more than £148m last August.
