Fire crews free trapped motorist

The fire service used cutting equipment to free a motorist that had become trapped following a car crash earlier today.

It happened around 4.30pm near to Greetland Cricket Club on Saddleworth Road at Greetland and involved two cars.

Fire crews from West Yorkshire’s Rastrick and Halifax stations attended the incident.
