Firefighters from across district battle Whitby farmhouse blaze
A blaze which broke out at a farmhouse in Whitby has been battled by firefighters from across the district.
The fire, reported shortly after 1.30pm, caused damage to the first and ground floor of the property in Fylingdales.
Firefighters from Scarborough, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Lythe and Goathland were called in to help, extinguishing the blaze.
