Free fitness sessions planned

free sport and fitness sessions could be held every day in leisure centres across Leeds.

A new health project has received a grant that could see people of all ages and abilities to become physically active for free.

Leeds City Council’s proposed pilot project Leeds Let’s Get Active has been backed by a total of £1m of match-funding by Leeds public health and Sport England through the National Lottery.

Under the proposals one hour every day would be available at every Leeds City Council-managed leisure centre for free sessions.
