Funeral announced for Leeds Beckett student killed in Manchester Arena bombing
The Leeds Beckett University student from Gateshead was at the Arena with her stepfather Philip Tron, 32, to pick up her sister after the Ariana Grande concert.
A notice in the Newcastle-based Chronicle newspaper said a service will be held at Saltwell Crematorium on Friday at noon.

Hide AdIt reads: “Courtney, a very much loved daughter of Deborah, much loved sister of Nicole, also a much loved niece, cousin, friend and girlfriend of Callum.
“Service and cremation at Saltwell Crematorium on Friday June 9 at noon.
“Friends please meet at Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to The Swan Bereavement Nurses, Salford, a donation may be made at the service.
“Afterwards all are welcome at The Thomas Wilson Club to celebrate Courtney’s life.”

Hide AdHundreds of people attended a balloon release at the Angel of the North in memory of Miss Boyle and Mr Tron.
The Mayor of Gateshead Pauline Dillon read out a tribute on behalf of Courtney’s mother which said: “Courtney and Phil both went into the Arena to collect Nicole, laughing and both were so happy.
“Courtney and Phil brought so much happiness into our lives, they were my rock and if you were ever feeling down they would bring you back up with their infectious smile.
“They both loved life and are now our angels flying high together into the sky.”
