Coun Val Slater, Bradford Council’s executive member for planning, said after the award: “I’m delighted City Park has won this award and that the quality of the professional work of our town planners has been recognised.
Competition entries were judged on originality, creation of economic, social and environmental benefit, community involvement and impact and our City Park ticks all the boxes.”
The park, which contains the UK’s largest man-made city centre water feature, has won eight awards since it opened just over a year ago.
