Grimsby murder probe continues after street attack

A man who died after being attacked in the street has been named after police launched a murder investigation.

Humberside Police said Tony Richardson, 45, died after an assault outside Halifax Bank, on Old Market Place, Grimsby.

They released a description of a man they want to speak to in connection with the attack, which happened at around 4.30pm on Monday.

He is described as a white man, aged between 20 and 45, with dark rimmed glasses. He wore a beige or grey waist length jacket with a peaked hood, which was up, dark trousers and grey or brown trainers.

Detective Chief Inspector Stewart Miller said: "We are investigating a number of new lines of enquiry and want to thank the public for the response by them in coming forward with information."
