Happy 105th birthday to amazing Ripon resident Kay
So popular is Kay, that dozens of friends and family members attended her birthday bash at the Moors Care Centre on Saturday.
Not many people can claim to have made such an impact in the Ripon community as Kay. As a founding member and Lady President of Ripon City Golf Club, Kay’s contribution continues to be seen and felt today.

The Mayor of Ripon, Coun Pauline McHardy, was among the invited guests at Kay’s party, which was brilliantly organised by the team at the Moors Care Centre.
There was even a scrapbook of newspaper clippings and photos for guests to look through, to look back on everything that Kay’s achieved, and continues to achieve in her lifetime. One of the photos shows Kay swinging a golf club on her 100th birthday.
