Honk if you love Chitty

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was on show at Nunnington Hall, near Helmsley, over the weekend. Car owner and driver Pierre Picton is pictured with Beth Parker, four, and her two-year-old sister, Eve, of York.

The original car from the classic 1968 movie, comes to Nunnington each summer for fans of the film to see and enjoy.

Visitor services manager Annabelle Coaten said: "It is always great to have Chitty coming back. It's such a popular event. The looks of amazement on children's faces when they come face to face with the real Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is great to see."
