Fallon Thexton: Richmond teenager sent final messages to family before death, inquest hears
Fallon Ada Louise Thexton was discovered by her father at her address on Castle Hill, Richmond, in the early hours of September 10, 2024, after she sent messages to her mother and sister indicating she intended to end her life.
At the inquest into her death, held this week at Northallerton Coroners Court, assistant coroner, Gillian Kane, concluded the 19-year-old had died by suicide.

Hide AdShe was formally pronounced dead by paramedics at 8.16am that morning.


The court heard Fallon had moved to Richmond for “a fresh start” and had previously been in contact with mental health services in Durham.
Her last face-to-face appointment was in February 2024, and she was discharged from care in June after failing to attend follow-ups, the inquest was told.
While she had not received a formal diagnosis, medical records indicated she was experiencing symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder.

Hide AdFallon was a popular content creator with thousands of followers on TikTok where she had hundreds and thousands of video views.
Many fans had left tributes to the teenager as one said: “Beautiful r.i.p Fallon gone.but never forgotten.”
A second said: “Still can’t believe your gone.”
Another commented: “Rip Fallon I love and miss you.”
The inquest was told her father, Carl Thexton, had told police Fallon had become increasingly withdrawn in the days before her death.
In a police statement which was read out by the coroner, Fallon’s father said she had isolated herself from family and friends and believed she had relapsed into drug use after a night out with friends earlier that month.

Hide AdMr Thexton said he received a call from Fallon’s sister shortly before 6am on September 10, after Fallon had messaged both her and their mother during the night.
He immediately contacted emergency services and drove to her home.
Unable to get inside, he forced entry into the property and attempted to help her before paramedics arrived, the inquest heard.
Three handwritten notes were later found at the scene, along with an envelope containing Fallon’s bank card details, passwords and funeral instructions.

Hide AdA toxicology report showed the presence of cocaine, as well as prescribed medications taken at therapeutic levels.
There was no evidence of third-party involvement.
In reaching her conclusion, the coroner said she was satisfied Fallon had intended to end her life, noting the messages she sent to family members and the written instructions she left behind.
Offering her condolences, she said: “Miss Thexton had suffered some mental health difficulties in her life.
“I find myself in little doubt that she acted with the intention of ending her life. I wish to express my sincere sympathy to her family for their loss.”
