Leeds M621 closed after man’s bridge fall death

POLICE tonight said the southbound M621 motorway in Leeds – which was closed after a man died when he fell from a bridge this afternoon – was expected to be re-opened by 10pm.

The southbound M621 was closed between junction 2 for Elland Road and junction 3 for Leeds city centre after police received reports of a man falling from a bridge at around 5.30pm.

The road was closed while investigations were carried out at the scene.

Police said the M621 southbound was expected to be re-opened by 10pm tonight.
