Bethany Denison and Elliot Carroll, both 15, organised a charity event to aid the Nephrotic Syndrome Trust (NeST), which helps people with the protein condition.

They approached businesses to donate raffle prizes for a do at Park Lane Campus, which also included a dance performance, a band and catering, all by year 11 students.

Bethany, who suffers from Nephrotic Syndrome, said: “The money raised will hopefully go towards finding a cure for this debilitating condition.”
