Live updates as USAF plane crashes off Flamborough Head
A United States Air Force fighter plane has crashed 74 miles off the coast of Flamborough in East Yorkshire.
The aircraft, based at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, came down at 9.40am with one pilot on board. This blog will be updated throughout the day as more information comes in.
