Macbeth’s wee glitches
Hollywood star James Mc-Avoy has told how he stumbled over his lines while on stage on Monday night in his theatre role as Macbeth.
The X-Men actor, who has earned rave reviews since taking on the role last month in the new production of Shakespeare’s darkest tale, said he is yet to suffer from stage fright, but admitted: “I did dry for the first time in three and a half weeks last night.
“And I realised that I said the same line twice and I went ‘oh dear this is a bad moment for me’.
“The audience I don’t think quite noticed. Some of them will have but I don’t think anybody else noticed and then I got it back on track and it was fine. It’s going well.”
