Man allegedly punches boy during robbery near Hull bar

A man allegedly punched a 16-year-old boy in the face during a street robbery in Hull.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident on Witham at around 10.30pm on Sunday, March 12 as the boy was walking by the Shakers bar.

The boy was approached by two men and one of them asked to borrow his phone.

The victim declined at which point he was allegedly punched to the face by one of the men.

The man then instructed the boy to change the security code on his Iphone and hand it over, which he did to avoid being assaulted again.

The pair continued to threaten the boy and the second man took his wallet from his pocket before they walked away with the his belongings.

No visible injuries were sustained by the boy.
