Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after Sheffield stabbing
South Yorkshire Police have arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder following a reported stabbing.
Police were called to reports that a man, believed to be in his 40s, had been seriously injured in Emerson Crescent on the Parson Cross estate at around 3.50pm.

Hide AdHe was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
A 23-year-old man was arrested and remains in custody being questioned by officers.
Several police cars and a forensics team remain in the area carrying out investigations.
The road has been cordoned off, and forensic investigators have been seen examining several points on the road in detail.
