Man seriously injured after being assaulted in York pub toilets

The incident happened at around 9pm on April 29 in the toilets in The Micklegate pub, Micklegate, when the victim was assaulted.

He sustained serious head injuries and was taken to hospital.

Police believe the assault is linked to a street brawl, where a group of men were fighting on Castlegate later in the evening at around 1am.

Two men have been bailed following the incident.
