Missing teenager found dead

A body found at a city centre shopping mall was that of a missing teenager, police have confirmed.

Family and friends of Kelvin Bradley, 18, made urgent appeals for help in finding him after he failed to return home to Ferryhill, County Durham, after a night out in Newcastle on Saturday.

Mr Bradley, who had started working with a graphic design company, was due to meet friends.

Police found his body in a service area behind the Eldon Square shopping centre in Newcastle on Thursday night.

Durham Police said Kelvin’s death was not being treated as suspicious.
