Motorcyclist in hospital after collision with wall in Huddersfield

A motorcyclist is in hospital following a serious collision in Huddersfield.

The crash happened at around 11.35pm yesterday (Monday), on Huddersfield Road, Meltham.

Police said the white Suzuki GSXR motorcycle was travelling in the direction of Huddersfield town cente when it collided with a wall.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "The rider, a man in his 30s, suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital in a stable condition.

"Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who saw the motorbike driving in the area prior to the collision to get in touch with police."
