NDET-20-04-17 Obit Cynthia Thurman

Mrs Cynthia Thurman nee Weldin has died at Royal Hospital, Chesterfield, aged 85. Born in Tupton, she worked at Vyella, John Turners and later at Ashton Containers.In 1968 Cynthia moved to Danesmoor were she remained until recently moving to Smithybrook in Clay Cross were she enjoyed meeting new friaends and new found interestd.She enjoyed travelling but was very much at home in her garden with her family.The service is due to take place At st John's Church, Tupton at 1.00pm on April 24th 2017 followed by burial at Danesmoor Cemetery at 1.45pm.Mrs Thurman was a keen supporter of Dogs for the Blind and the family wish for family flowers only and donations on behalf of her supported charity.Funeral Directors : J.E.Nicholson, 329 Langer Lane , Wingerworth, Chesterfield.
