Mrs Enid Baker of Hasland has passed away at home, aged 94 years. Born in West Handley, Enid has lived locally all her life.She worked in the Family Butchers Shop at Mill Green, Staveley for 34 years until the late 1960's, and had worked at the family run Public Houses at The Walton Hotel, St Augustines and the White Hart at Walton then she went to work at Robinsons, Wheat Bridge until she retired.Enid enjoyed dancing at Staveley Miners Welfare.
