A burial Service has been held for Mr Peter Greensmith of Byron Street, Newstead Village, Nottingham who passed away on March 21st 2017, aged 80 years. He was a lifelong local resident.Peter worked as a coal miner at Newstead Colliery for 35 years, retiring in 1987. He was interested in Pigeon racing, fishing, holidays, gardening and enjoyed the company of his grandchildre.Peter leaves his wife Maureen Greensmith, his children Steven, Debra and Nick, nine grandchildren and six great - grandchildren.
