The owners posted a message on Facebook earlier this month as they closed the pub for the national lockdown.

The statement read: "We close our doors once again for another lockdown. We hope, and pray, that all our wonderful customers, colleagues and friends stay safe during the next few weeks.

"Earlier this year we spoke to you all about how far we have come in the last decade and now we are all proud by how much we've bounced back in the past four months since re-opening.

"We've been filled with tears of joy reading comments and reviews stating how safe people feel and how much they love our wonderful country pub. The Tiger Inn will, most definitely, be back as soon as we are able.

"We looking forward to welcoming you once again with our customary smiles, warmth and joviality. So, with a heavy heart, we say "in a bit". Much love, Team Tiger."
