Now you see me... baby wallaby peeks out

A BABY wallaby has taken one of its first tastes of Yorkshire air after emerging from the warmth of its mother’s pouch.

The young marsupial was born at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, near Doncaster, last year but as infant wallabies arrive very small and undeveloped they crawl into the pouch where they continue to develop for several months.

The baby has emerged relatively early, possibly encouraged by the mild winter weather.
