How Yorkshire families can become staycation ambassadors – The Yorkshire Post says

This apparent eagerness by Yorkshire people to support their own tourism and hospitality industry will be a welcome boost for a sector that was so integral to the wider regional economy before the pandemic struck.

But it also shows how the five million-plus people living here can become ambassadors for God’s Own County and support bodies like Welcome to Yorkshire provided, of course, that they do lead by example by taking their litter and rubbish home.

For, when public health permits, there’s no place in the country like Yorkshire to relax – the regret is that it has taken a pandemic for people here to appreciate all that’s on offer locally.
