York Station’s historic opportunity for revamp – The Yorkshire Post says
Yet, while City of York Council will have to take account of the station’s heritage and history when it considers this long-awaited planning application tomorrow, one factor needs to take precedence.
That is the need to make the entrance, and surrounding area, more spacious for passengers and visitors so that it is possible to maintain social distancing – and other health measures – when current restrictions are lifted and tourists begin to return to York.
