April 18: Charity run deserved more

I WAS very disappointed at your lack of coverage of the Yorkshire Half Marathon event held in Sheffield on April 12 (The Yorkshire Post, April 13).

There was one photograph on page two and the results in the sports section of your newspaper and that was it. Such sporting events raise a huge amount of money for charity and the runners deserve more recognition and praise.
