DOMINIC Cummings’ Downing Street exit gives anti-Brexit campaigners some hope but limited cause to celebrate. The harm and toxicity – and animosity with European allies – he helped create is still there.

No 10 personnel changes won’t hide it (The Yorkshire Post, November 14). Nor must spin from upcoming White House-style daily press briefings hosted by ex-journalist Allegra Stratton be allowed to mask it.

We will only be rid of Dominic Cummings when European relations are much improved – and Britain set to re-join the EU.
