Lockdown rule breakers should be given criminal record – Yorkshire Post Letters

From: Hilary Andrews, Nursery Lane, Leeds.

IN order for the current four week lockdown to work, everyone must play their part.

Those breaking the rules should not be fined, but instead have a criminal conviction. This would then be on their record and would seriously jeopardise any possibility of future employment.

These are tough times and tough measures are needed. The threat of fines has just not worked.
