CAN I convey a positive tone regarding the future of Leeds Bradford Airport (after Covid 19)?
1. New improved terminal building with covered walkways – tick.
2. Larger parking areas – tick.

4. Increase in flights with more destinations – tick.
5. More efficient quieter aircraft in future – tick.
6. More jobs and secure future for staff – tick.
7. Fewer passengers going to Manchester/East Midlands – tick.
8. New terminal funded by private investment – tick.
Let’s hope we have a new inspiring name; may I suggest The White Rose or even the Marcelo Bielsa Airport?

IF we do not invest in Leeds Bradford Airport, which some have described as a glorified airfield, it will suggest this is a region lacking ambition.
