Rob Burrow was a magical player with a massive heart on the rugby field - Yorkshire Post Letters
My wife and I have been lifelong supporters of Leeds Rhinos going right back to the days of Arthur Clues and Bert Cook. We have had some wonderful players to entertain us yet none more so than Rob Burrow, small in stature yet massive in heart.
Living as we do now in Settle, our visits to watch the Rhinos during the latter part of Rob’s career became increasingly fewer due to age and infirmity. These days it is telly viewing.

Hide AdWhat a magical player he was, forwards must have dreaded him. Thanks Rob for the wonderful memories and more recently your work with Kevin Sinfield in particular and all the Leeds team and backroom staff towards the eventual goal of finding a cure for MND.

We must remember at this time his wonderful wife Lindsey and their three children Macy, Maya and Jackson. Who knows we may yet see them playing in Rhinos colours.
Now I am going to sit down and read again Rob Burrow’s autobiography, ‘Too many reasons to live’.
