A woman who fell from Lendal Bridge in York into the River Ouse has now been missing for three days

Underwater divers are still searching a river in York following reports a woman was seen falling from Lendal Bridge three days ago.

The River Ouse has been searched over the weekend after the woman fell from the bridge on Friday at around midday.

She has been described as white, aged in her early 20s, with purple or red hair and was wearing a black coat with a buckle across the middle, black skinny jeans, black boots with red or purple socks pulled over the top of the ankle boots.

She was also carrying white A4 sized papers.

Her identity has not been ascertained.

North Yorkshire Police is now appealing for anyone who may have dashcam footage from the bridge around that time to come forward to help them retrace the woman's movements prior to entering the water.
