Donovan, who lives in Leeds with husband Johnny I'Anson and baby Scout, said some viewers may be surprised to find out that she is constantly being spoken to via an earpiece.

In a video she shared on Twitter and Instagram, Keely said: "Did you know that we've got someone talking in our ears as we're live on air?

"Yep, that's right they are always talking to us."

The video then shows how the producers interact with presenters and how they let them know when they are running out of time.

It also shows them counting the presenters down to the end credits.

Social media users expressed their shock and admiration for the skills and concentration required to present.

One man said: "I don’t know how you all do it, I would not be able to concentrate" while another added: "Very interesting didn’t know you had that sort of time pressure on air".

The weather presenter married I'Anson in a rustic ceremony at a farm in Knaresborough in 2018, with fellow Look North anchor Harry Gration conducting the service.

Donovan is the daughter of former Rotherham United footballer Terry Donovan.
