We take a look at 22 dogs that are currently looking for their forever home at the RSPCA York, Harrogate and District branch…
5. Squirrel
Squirrel is an eight-week-old German Shepherd cross who is a sweet little guy and came to the centre via an inspector with his siblings. They were all in a terrible state and needed extra feeds to help them grow big and strong and they are all now ready to find their forever homes with a family who will give them the life they deserve. At the moment Squirrel is on pain relief but remains a very happy and extremely sweet little puppy. Photo: RSPCA
6. Kiki
Kiki is an eight-year-old Dogue de Bordeaux who is a very sweet natured girl and came to the centre as an unclaimed stray via the local dog warden. Kiki is the classic gentle giant and she absolutely loves being in the company of her people and would actually sit on your knee if she could. There are three things that mean the most to Kiki and they are snuggles with her family, her soft toys and her food. Kiki has a great big heart so full of love which she is happy to share with you. She will make a great pet for the family lucky enough to adopt this beautiful girl. Photo: RSPCA
7. Bert
Bert is an eight-month-old Lurcher who is a very sweet and friendly boy with lots of energy to burn. He is a young, active and playful dog who has so much still to learn. Bert will need an active family who will channel all his energy with exciting adventures so he does not become bored. Bert is a very happy and cheerful dog who loves playing with his toys and keeping himself entertained. Photo: RSPCA
8. Dave
Dave is a five-year-old Lurcher who has had a very tough life before coming to the centre and he now deserves to find a loving family who will cherish him and show him the joys of life. Dave loves his snuggles and appreciates all the fuss, TLC and attention that he is currently getting at the centre. All he wants is to love a new family and be loved by a family of his very own.
