Four-legged friends took centre stage at Hull Minster as pets and their owners gathered for a special celebration of animals.
The RSPCA Hull & East Riding Animal Celebration was held on Sunday (Aug 30), inviting people to give thanks for family pets, rescue animals and service animals.
Animals were welcomed inside the Minster for a special blessing service, while the event also provided an opportunity to remember much-loved pets which have died.
The pictures from the day show dogs of all shapes and sizes meeting the clergy, with one feline visitor also joining the congregation.
Stalls from local animal charities, rescue organisations and service providers gave visitors the chance to learn more about animal welfare work across Hull and East Yorkshire.
The free event was organised by RSPCA Hull & East Riding in partnership with Hull Minster.
