Hundreds of dogs and their handlers have gathered at Harewood as the Leeds Championship Dog Show returned for its 44th year at the Yorkshire estate.

More than 150 breeds have been taking part as the Leeds Championship Dog Show returned to Harewood for another weekend of top-class competition.

Organised by the Leeds City and District Canine Association, the event is one of the UK's premier championship dog shows and serves as a qualifying competition for Crufts.

Now in its 44th year at Harewood, the show has been held at the estate since the early 1980s and attracts exhibitors and visitors from across the country.

From meticulous grooming and expert judging to perfectly timed performances in the show ring, the event showcases the very best of pedigree dogs across a huge range of Kennel Club breeds.
