Leeds Pride 2026: Best pictures as thousands celebrate the event's 20th anniversary

Thousands of people lined the streets and took part in the colourful Leeds Pride parade as the city's landmark 20th anniversary celebrations continued.

Thousands of people packed Leeds city centre as Pride returned with its biggest celebration yet.

Marking its 20th anniversary, Leeds Pride was held over two days for the first time, with Sunday's parade bringing a sea of colour, music and celebration to the city's streets.

The inaugural event, then known as Leeds Gay Pride, attracted around 6,500 people, but organisers expected around 75,000 visitors across the weekend in 2026.

Nearly 250 local businesses backed this year's celebrations, with organisations, community groups and performers joining the parade through the city centre.

Rainbow flags, live music, colourful costumes and joyful crowds transformed Leeds into one of the UK's largest Pride celebrations.

Here are some of the best pictures capturing the atmosphere from Leeds Pride 2026.
