North Yorkshire Moors Railway announces recruitment drive for permanent and seasonal roles as it prepares to re-open

The North Yorkshire Moors Railway has launched a recruitment drive as it prepares for the spring and summer season.

A number of permanent and seasonal paid roles are on offer at various stations along the heritage line.

In the head office, there is a vacancy for a human resources manager, and at Grosmont a permanent supervisor for the station's two shops is being sought.

Other positions include an assistant chef on the Pullman luxury dining trains, catering assistants aboard the same services, a refreshment trolley supervisor and an assistant to work in the tearoom at Pickering Station.

There are a range of seasonal vacancies including carriage cleaners at Pickering, trolley stewards based at Pickering and Grosmont, Pullman stewards, and tearoom assistants at Goathland and Grosmont.

The railway will re-open for its annual season in April.
