Two bikers in their 50s die in horror head-on crash near Masham in the Yorkshire Dales

The accident happened at 11.50am on Sunday on the A6108, just outside Masham in the Yorkshire Dales.

A blue BMW R1200RT motorbike was travelling along the road from the direction of Leyburn and a red Moto Guzzi motorbike was travelling the opposite direction towards Leyburn when the two vehicles collided.

Both drivers, a 57-year-old man and a 59-year-old man who were both from North Yorkshire, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
