Yorkshire shop selling toilet rolls for £1 EACH or £24 for a multipack slammed on social media
The Spar shop on Suffolk Road, Sheffield is now selling the toilet roll 24 pack for £24 - or £1 individually.
Residents took to social media to slam the decision to sell the rolls at the price.

Hide AdIeuan Joy, a journalism student at the University of Sheffield, said he couldn't believe the rolls were being sold for £1 each.


Photographs Ieuan took show the amended price on the shelf.
He said staff he spoke to seemed 'embarrassed' at the price.
After tweeting a picture of the toilet rolls, Ieuan was inundated with angry responses.
One said: "What is the world coming to?!"


Another added: "I can't believe this!"
A Spar spokesman said: "We have been in contact with the independently owned SPAR store on Suffolk Road, Sheffield and confirmed that the pricing has now been rectified.

Hide Ad"This was a decision taken by a junior member of staff and they apologise for this error.
"SPAR UK is committed to ensure that the local communities we serve are able to get hold of the products they rely on at this difficult time."
