Yorkshire's list in full for those honoured in Queen's New Year's Honours 2021

Amid a grand list of knights and dames in the honours list are humble heroes who through everyday actions and selfless deeds have helped to forge the region’s proud resilience and spirit.

There are Yorkshire’s healthcare champions, honoured by the Queen for efforts over recent months. Scientists and academics, credited for delivering a brighter future for the nation, and education leaders honoured for their work in shaping children’s futures across Yorkshire.

There are also the librarians and charity workers and supermarket staff who helped to create better communities.
