THE iconic chandelier at Leeds Grand Theatre has been removed ahead of the arrival of The Phantom Of The Opera next week.

The chandelier, which has 105 lamps and 6,389 crystals, is being temporarily replaced with a prop representing the Paris Opera House chandelier, which is central to the story.

The Phantom Of The Opera’s technical team will move into the theatre on Sunday, ahead of the show’s grand opening next Thursday.
