Police alert over Halifax graffiti epidemic

Graffiti was sprayed on vehicles, buildings and street furniture in the area between 4pm on Friday 28 March and 0900am on Sunday 30 March.

In five of the incidents the graffiti was of a racist and or abusive nature and was sprayed in black and white.

The locations for the incidents were Woodlands View, All Souls Road, Ackroyd Court, Range Court and Carmel Road.

PC Anna Law of the Halifax Central Neighbourhood Policing Team, said:

“These incidents all happened within a short space of time in the area. Some of the graffiti is distressing for people and I would appeal for any witnesses or anyone with information about who has caused this damage to contact police on 101.”
