Police link robberies after masked raiders target shops

Officers are appealing for witnesses following two alleged robberies in Barnsley this week

The first incident happened at about 6.15pm on Monday when two men ran into the 7 Days store in St Andrew’s Square, Bolton-on-Dearne, and snatched money from the till.

Later that evening, at about 8.30pm, police believe the same two men entered the Food and Wine shop in Doncaster Road, Goldthorpe, and stole the till from behind the counter.
