Farage is hot favourite with bookies to win tonight’s debate
Bookmaker Paddy Power has Mr Farage as the 7/4 favourite to emerge as the winner of the debate - with the Tory and Labour leaders on 10/3, Ms Sturgeon 6/1, Mr Clegg 9/1 and the Green and Plaid leaders 16/1.
Meanwhile the prime minister is most likely to win tonight’s debate, according to a new poll released this afternoon.

Hide AdPanelbase surveyed 1007 adults online and found 38 per cent said Mr Cameron is likely to win the encounter, with the Labour and Ukip leaders tied on 25 per cent.
Mr Farage was voted the most charismatic leader of the seven (38%), followed by the prime minister (32%) and then Mr Miliband (11%)
The Ukip leader was also labelled as having the best sense of humour (55%), streets ahead of Mr Miliband (15%) and Mr Cameron (14%).
But 28% of those polled thought he was the most annoying too, followed closely by Mr Miliband (27%) and then Mr Cameron (19%).

Hide AdFifty-three per cent of those polled said Mr Cameron is the strongest leader of the seven contenders, with Mr Miliband and Mr Farage tied on 16%.
But Mr Miliband came out on top in respect of who is most in favour of a more equal society.
Thirty-six per cent of those asked picked the Labour leader, 19% Mr Cameron and Mr Clegg 16%.
Sixty per cent of those polled said they would either definitely or probably watch tonight’s debate.

Hide AdThe adults surveyed, all UK residents, were also asked about their voting intentions.
Thirty-three per cent went for Labour, 33% the Conservatives, 17% Ukip, 7% the Liberal Democrats, 5% the Greens, 3% the SNP and 2% other.
