Pregnant woman allegedly punched during Hull supermarket car park assault

A heavily pregnant woman was allegedly punched during an assault in a supermarket car park in Hull.

The 25-year-old woman, who is 36 weeks pregnant, was approached by an unknown woman while she was driving out of the car park at Asda Mount Pleasant on Saturday May 21 at around 5.45pm.

Humberside Police has released an image of the unknown woman who allegedly started to shout abuse at the victim, before kicking the side of her car.

She then allegedly opened the driver’s side door and pulled the victim’s hair and punched her in the head.

The victim, who sustained no visible injuries, managed the shut the door of her damaged car and drove off.

Anyone who knows the woman or witnessed the incident is urged to call police on 101, quoting log number 464 of May 21, or anonymously on 0800 555111.
