Probe after women found dead
An investigation is under way after the bodies of two women were found at a house.
The women, believed to be Rachel Clayton, 34, and Emma Speed, 30, were found when ambulance crews were called to the address in Crompton Road, Macclesfield, Cheshire, at about 8.20pm on Sunday.
It is thought the alarm was raised by a friend of the women. The paramedics notified Cheshire Police and shortly afterwards, Cheshire Fire Service and gas engineers also attended the property to check for a leak but tests found no indication of gas escaping.
Detectives say they are not looking for anybody else in connection with the incident.
